MARINE PLYWOOD (CARCASS)

This type of material is marine plywood that is pressed with Melamine laminate. It can withstand any weather condition makes it the ideal plywood for boat-making, home building, and furniture-making. Only the highest quality of wood is used to make marine plywood. It is so unique and helpful for any kind of marine appliance, but the prices are affordable. The most well-known benefit is that it can handle any amount of moisture and dampness.

Advantages: Disadvantages:
  • High resistance to chipping
  • Water-resistant
  • More durable than MDF (Medium Density Fiber)
  • More compact, 11 sheets of plywood
  • Longer life span as opposed to other suppliers who use particleboard.
  • Non-termite resistant.

 

 

 

POLYMER (CARCASS) BOARD

Polymer is a new type of board made of Polyvinyl Chloride Composition(PVC). Waterproof and lightweight they are ideal for all types of cabinetry and signage and are available in a range of sheet sizes and thicknesses.

Advantages: Disadvantages:
  • Termite resistant
  • Water-Resistant
  • Flame Retardant
  • Can be worked on using standard woodworking
  • Can be laminated and coated with paint like any regular plywood.
  • With a Length Capacity of 800-900mm for shelving to avoid sagging

 

 

OTTO “MATTE” HIGH DENSITY FIBERBOARD

OTTO Boards are high-density fiberboards (HDF) machine press laminate in matte finish. It is a type of fiberboard, which is an engineered wood product. Usually used in furniture and the construction industry.

Advantages: Disadvantages:
  • Machine press
  • Easy to clean
  • Higher scratch and abrasion resistance
  • Higher chemical resistance
  • Best for modern design
  • HDF board(High-Density Fiberboard)

UV HIGH GLOSS DENSITY FIBERBOARD

UV Boards are high-density fiberboards (HDF) that have gone through the UV curing process. It is highly durable, scratch and water-resistant, and does not fade or lose luster with time. HDF is predominantly used in laminate flooring products where this density is required, though other uses include door skins and underlayment.

  • High gloss laminate boards are cover with ultraviolet curing paint

COATED GLASS

A glass (2mm coated glass surface) that is embedded on the top of 16mm marine plywood or polymer board as support. They are designed to be used as a dimensionally stable, fire-resistant substrate for many different industries. The coated glass shows that they are antimicrobial and will not support the growth of mold and mildew. It is water repellent and does not shrink or expand when exposed to water. Various coatings are available that enhance adhesion to other products and weather.

  • May break when hit with Intense force.
